Fungal Toe Nails

Disfigured toenails as a result of fungal infection (Onychomycosis) are extremely common. They are characterised by a brownish-yellow discolouration of the nail plate, occasionally with white flecks. These nails may become harder, brittle and detach from the nail bed. As the nail bed thickens (hypertrophies ) the nail plate often detach from the bed. With this detachment, the nail may become distorted in shape with increased concavity. In addition, these nails may become painful and hypersensitive and suffer an increased incidence of pressure sores from footwear and bacterial infections.

Chard’s Healthy Nails is a herbal mixture developed by Dr Angus Chard PhD for the treatment of fungal toenails. Applied daily, a new fungus-free nail typically emerges from the nail base within three to four months. It's essential to continue using the Healthy Nail drops until the fungal portion of the toenail has fully grown out and the toenail re-attaches. Ask at reception or discuss with your podiatrist.
